This Police Mutual Rescue (Breakdown Cover) covers the vehicle(s) stated on the policy schedule, no matter who is driving it, as long as they are legally able.

Before we can issue the Police Mutual Rescue (Breakdown Cover), please confirm that the following statements are true:

  • I confirm that I am resident in the UK (excluding Jersey and Guernsey).
  • I understand that the vehicle(s) to be covered must have a valid MOT (unless exempt), be taxed, insured and registered in the UK.
  • All answers I have given are true and complete to the best of my knowledge and belief. I understand that failure to give true and complete answers may result in my cover being reduced or cancelled.
  • I understand that if any of the information provided changes after I have purchased the policy and during the period of the policy that I must provide Police Mutual with details. Changes to inform us about include change to insured vehicle (s), change in address, change in level of cover eg. UK to Euro or Euro to UK.
  • I understand that you exchange information with other insurers and the Police to prevent fraud, detect uninsured drivers and for the purposes of electronic car licensing.
  • I understand that I may cancel the policy within 14 days of receiving the policy documents, or at any time afterwards. If you cancel within 14 days we will make a charge equal to the period of cover you have had. If you cancel after 14 days you will not be entitled to any refund of premium.
  • I agree that this product matches my need of ensuring I am covered in the event of a vehicle breakdown whilst in the UK.
